Performance and power efficiency starts with good branch prediction. Arm knows this, and X925 doesn’t disappoint. Its branch predictor can recognize extremely long repeating patterns. In a test with branches that are taken or not-taken in random patterns of increasing lengths, X925 behaves a lot like AMD’s Zen 5.
